Welcome to Claudia’s Tea House. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services. By using our website or making a reservation, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services or website.
1. Use of Website and Services
You may use our website solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree to:
•Not use the site or services for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm others.
•Not reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content without express written permission.
•Not interfere with the operation or security of the website.
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access to any user for any reason at our sole discretion.
2. Reservations and Payments
Deposit & Final Payment
A 30% deposit is required to secure all event reservations. Final payment is due at the time of the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Prices listed on our website do not include applicable sales tax or a 20% service fee, which will be added to your final bill.
A $180 cleaning fee will apply to private parties exceeding 15 guests.
3. Cancellations and Transfers
Standard Reservations
- Cancel more than 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund.
- Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a $25 per person cancellation fee.
Special Events (Camps, Themed Teas, etc.)
- Cancel more than 7 days in advance for a full refund minus a $25 processing fee per session.
- Cancel within 7 days to receive credit (minus a $25 fee) valid through August 31, 2025, and transferable to a family member.
- Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable and not eligible for credit.
Illness-Related Cancellations
- If due to illness, you may transfer to another session (subject to availability).
- If you decline a transfer, the standard cancellation policy applies.
- A physician’s note may be required to process any credit or refund.
Transfer Policy
- Requests to transfer sessions must be made at least 7 days in advance.

4. Private Party Requirements
Private events require a minimum of 10 adults or 5 adults and 5 children. Private parties include exclusive use of our event space for approximately 2.5 hours.
5. Allergy and Food Disclaimer
Claudia’s Tea House is not a nut-free or allergen-free facility. By attending our events, you acknowledge and accept any associated risks. Guests are responsible for informing us of allergies or dietary restrictions in advance. We are not liable for allergic reactions due to undisclosed information.
6. Children’s Pricing
Children 12 years and under qualify for child pricing only at designated events.
7. Outside Food & Dessert Policy
Guests are welcome to bring their own cake or dessert for a $1.50 per person plating and service fee.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Claudia’s Tea House website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and code — is the property of Claudia’s Tea House and protected under U.S. copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction of any content is strictly prohibited.
9. User Conduct
You agree to use our website and services responsibly and not engage in any of the following:
- Abusive, offensive, or unlawful behavior
- Attempts to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
- Spamming, data scraping, or interference with site operations
We reserve the right to deny access or cancel bookings for any user who violates these guidelines.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Claudia’s Tea House is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Your use or inability to use the website or services
- Delays, cancellations, or modifications to events
- Food-related issues, including allergic reactions
- Technical errors, data breaches, or other disruptions
All services are provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind.
11. Privacy Policy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or change these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted to this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
